Positive Respectful Responsible
In January of this year I was named New Hampshire Elementary Principal of the Year. This was an honor that humbled me since I truly believe all educators deserve an award for their dedication as we prepare students for the future. I truly believe that Rindge Memorial School is what it is because of the hard working staff who believe in all students and see the hidden potential, strength and future of our students. They foster continuous growth for all in a loving, caring family like atmosphere. We are a family at RMS and together we dedicate ourselves to the children we teach.
In late July, I received a letter from the National Association of Elemetary School Principals and the US Department of Education informing me that I would be receiving the award of "National Distinguished Principal of the Year". I traveled to to Washington DC October 22 and 23 where I was joined with representatives from all 50 states as we celebrated and shared educational successes and challenges we encounter in our careers.
The Jaffrey Rindge Cooperative School District has been my life since 1978 and I thank all of you who have touched my life in so many ways. I thank you all for your support and I made sure the educators of this country heard from me about the dedication of the RMS staff, our tremendous support from the community, parents, and friends of education, the teamwork from all the District Staff as we strive for common goals and of course about our wonderful students who make us so proud all the time.
